I am a Potter. I came from a construction world. I used my hands to put things together everyday. Clay is scientific, Magical, mythical, surprising and useful. All the years of digging in the earth I found a material worth digging for.

My pottery has taken forms that are used everyday. Its called functional pottery for that reason. Most everything I make is made by my hands. It starts from digging and or making clay from powder material. Sifting the materials and adding water brings clay to life. Wedging the clay brings the clay to a working form.

My inspirations come from the human form and nature. I allow the clay to speak to me through its shapes. My passion for pottery comes from the idea of making something that you can use. The work continues to keep me focused because clay is therapy. When you work on the wheel it puts the universe in harmony. Throwing clay lowers stress and feeds my mental health. 

Creating urns came after a close friend had passed. All the things we did together and he was going to be shown in a box store jar that said nothing about him. I have spend many years making ware for the wrong reasons. Custom urns have become a passion because of the meaning behind them. We also make custom urns out of many different mediums. I have the ability not only to throw a pot, hand build a vessel, and give you your choice of ceramic, porcelain, wood, steel or a mix.
